Happy Saturday, friends! This has been one of the longest weeks ever. I’ve been spending a lot of time online to decompress after work this week. I wanted to share some of the things that have been on my radar lately.
Schitt’s Creek
I somehow never started watching Schitt’s Creek until just this past Thursday, and I’m obsessed. Like, eight episodes on a weeknight obsessed. It’s just so good! I know this is probably old news to you since I’m way behind the times. However, if you haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend it!
Christmas Beauty Products
I love Christmas beauty products. There’s just something so fun about them! Some of my favorites are this amazing holiday scented deodorant. Weird concept, I know. Trust me. It smells, so. good.
The Best Perfume
I recently rediscovered this perfume when I was unpacking some of my beauty products, and I totally forgot how much I love it. It smells so good. It’s the perfect winter scent. It’s so warm and instantly makes me think of the holidays. It’s definitely more of a sexy scent, which is what I tend to prefer in the winter. Oh, and it is SO long-lasting. I actually just pulled out one of my coats from last winter and I can still smell the perfume on it.
Early Black Friday Deals
I try not to be a big Black Friday shopper. I might pick up a few items if a store I like things from has a great sale or if I’m trying to pick up gifts, but it isn’t a big deal to me by any means. With that said, I’m liking all the early Black Friday deals I’ve been seeing around the internet. Knowing the sale is available for a few weeks makes me think more about buying what I’m looking at!
Fitness Journey
Getting activity again has been one of the main things on my radar lately. I bought a scale recently, and I’m so excited about it! My job in college and first post-grad job were actually in weight management research, so I love seeing different health metrics. I really wanted a scale that showed me more than just my weight since I’m a health sciences nerd. Seeing all the different data points really helps motivate me.
There’s no perfect way to measure your body fat percentage/bone mass/etc., but a DEXA scan is pretty much as close as you can get, and this scale was pretty spot on to my last DEXA scan. Therefore, I’m comfortable using it as a way to measure progress. If you’re interested, I definitely think this scale is the best bang for your buck for a smart scale you can get, especially if you catch them having a sale (they’re currently 60% off, like, what?!)
DIY Daisy Jewelry
If you know me, you know that my dog, Daisy, is one of the best parts of my life. Ever since naming her, I absolutely have to have every Daisy themed thing I can find. I saw this DIY daisy chain necklace tutorial and just about lost my mind. It’s so cute. I’m thinking about making a few necklaces for Christmas gifts this year. We’ll see.
What’s been on your radar lately? I’d love to know!
