Y’all, run, don’t walk! Bath & Body Works three-wick candles are on major sale!!! Nothing lifts my mood more than a good candle. I usually reserve my candles for when it is officially fall, but since we have spent so much extra time at home lately I broke some of them out early. My old apartment was super dark even in the middle of the day, so I just cranked up the air conditioning and burned through all my fall candles – which made working from home feel much cozier. Unfortunately, the 8+ hours of burn time a day meant that I burned through all of my fall scents pretty quickly. So, when we moved to our new home, I made it a priority to stock up on my favorite fall scents as soon as they became available.
Now, I pretty much love every fall candle, but my fiance is really, really picky about scents. He finds most artificial scents to be overpowering, and he would rather our home just smelled neutral and clean. So, I’ve been on a multi-year journey to find scents that make me feel all the cozy feelings but that he can also enjoy.
And y’all, I think subjecting him to basically 3 months of constant candle burning really helped narrow down the kinds of scents we both enjoy! All the candles I’ve listed below have both of our seals of approval. A general profile of the scents is that they have some spice-forward, woody notes, and a bit of apple/apple cider thrown in for good measure. Pumpkin bonfire and white pumpkin, as you might have guessed, have some pumpkin scent, but I haven’t heard any complaints so I’m going to keep burning them!
I stocked up the last time they were on sale, but it wasn’t as good of a discount as this one! I’m going to go ahead and buy a few more of the apple-forward scents since that’s what I’ve been leaning towards the most lately – I don’t want to run out!
Also, I’m on the lookout for the Bath & Body Works honeycrisp apple scent. It isn’t on their website and I didn’t see it the last time I went into a store. I love that scent and really, really hope it hasn’t been discontinued. It honestly smells like a fresh apple and it’s the best clean scent.
Trader Joe’s has a pretty good honeycrisp apple candle, but it is a small single wick and I prefer multi-wick candles because I find the wax melts more evenly and the throw is better.
Let me know if you know anything about this, or if you have any other good fall scents you think I might like!
