Happy Monday, y’all! I hope you had a good weekend and got to do a bit of relaxing. I put together a little weekend roundup of things I found pretty, exciting, or interesting this weekend. I hope you find something that interests you!
I started reading The Little Book of Hygge and OMG, it is so good! It’s also super cute and written in a way that makes it easy and fun to read. Highly recommend.
On that note, I decided I need to incorporate hygge into my everyday life. I’m hoping this will help me stave off seasonal affective disorder (more on that here). First up on the agenda has been to hygge up our home – bring on all the cozy vibes! I think this blanket needs to make its way to my couch. It has all the cozy fall feeling I’m craving!
I finally bought the sweater/cardigan/coat that I’ve been eyeing for nearly a year. It has hovered just above what I was willing to pay for it based on how often I anticipate wearing it for a long time. A 30% off site-wide code fixed that.
I saw someone on Instagram – I can’t remember who, but if I do I’ll update this post! – wearing this dress and oh.my.word. It’s beautiful. And the price is SO. GOOD. I’m trying to convince myself I won’t be a complete hermit this fall/winter so I can justify buying it.
I also love this dress. It is so autumnal (and 40% off!), but I have a feeling my southern raised, tropical blood will keep me in knits for the foreseeable future.
I’ve been seeing Sydney over on Summer Wind wearing the cutest headband for a few months now, but I never knew where it was from and didn’t think to ask. She mentioned recently that it’s from Mi Golondrina, so I went searching for it! It seems to be sold out in the color I want, but this one is just too cute. Kate over on Lonestar Southern has mentioned the brand a few times as well, so you know the quality must be great!
I made this recipe on Sunday. No exaggeration, I think it’s the best easy recipe I’ve ever found on the internet. It’s truly a dump and go meal and it is SO good. I always add chili powder for a little kick.
Have you watched the Harry Potter movies lately? I woke up super early (thanks, insomnia) on Sunday and all I could think was that I really wanted to watch the Sorcerer’s Stone. Oh man, the score for this movie is honestly so soothing. I rented it on Prime Video, but it looks like it’s launching on Peacock in October, according to this article.
I saw that The Great British Baking Show is back!!!!!!! I’m glad they’re spacing it out because it’ll be a weekly jolt of serotonin.
